- Account metadata such as name, email, and company that you share during Google sign up.
- Operational data generated while creating drawings, welding records, and material certificates.
- Usage analytics that help us understand feature adoption and performance (aggregated and anonymized).
How We Use Data
- To provide, secure, and improve the Piping.Tools platform.
- To personalize notifications, engineering workflows, and billing communications.
- To comply with legal requirements (including GDPR) and respond to lawful requests.
Sharing & Disclosure
- We never sell personal data. Access is limited to vetted employees and service providers with strict contractual controls.
- We rely on infrastructure partners (hosting, storage, email, and payments) solely to deliver the product.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users.
Your Controls
- Export or delete project data at any time by contacting support@piping.tools.
- Request access, corrections, or processing limits for personal data.
- Configure role-based access within the admin dashboard to limit internal visibility.
Security & Retention
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using modern TLS and AES standards.
- We store information only as long as needed to deliver contractual obligations or comply with regulations.
- Incident response and backup procedures are reviewed quarterly.
